MUJI “Pleasant, Somehow”

In 2019, W could not have imagined COVID-19 threatening the world, so I spent about a year traveling around the world, photographing all kinds of people cleaning. Looking at the images of people repeatedly sweeping, wiping, cleaning, and caring for their lives, I felt a sense of sadness as well as a sense that human beings are not abandoned.
